The role is in the Workspace Experience Design team, based in London. The team is responsible for product design across a wide range of systems, platforms and products. We work closely with both the proposition/strategy teams as well as the product management and technology teams. You will work closely with a core team of lead and senior designers who together have a great deal of experience working on complex desktop, mobile and web applications, and in designing for finance and risk professionals.
What you'll be doing
- Crafting UI designs for complex products
- Raising the level of visual design craft in our design solutions!
- Helping ensure designs meet our standards for visual language and accessibility
- Collaborating with other members of the Experience Design team, including User Researchers, Service Designers, UX Designers and Content Designers
- Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to ensure visual design is part of the product development process
- Contributing to and evolving our Design System
- Communicating design rationale and progress to peers and leadership
- Significant experience visual design for applications in complex domains, highly preferred with a track record of success in financial services!
- Visual design expertise in typography, colour, hierarchy and layout
- Specialist experience in Figma
- Experience working with an enterprise-scale design system
- Staying on top of new ideas and standards in UI design
- Portfolio demonstrating how you work and the quality of your visual design
