Principal Product Designer Ui

We are hiring for an experienced Principal Product Designer (UI) to join our Experience Design team in London. You are an authority in Visual Design and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create design solutions which achieve our business goals and deliver maximum customer value.
Our flagship platforms and products are used by many thousands of users across the globe. Traders, brokers, wealth analysts, C-level, portfolio managers, researchers, risk analysts, and many more use them in different ways, in different contexts, in different countries, in different workflows, and with different needs. Our users rely on our products to deliver real-time, highly complex information in a way that they need, when they need it. This is delivered via desktop, mobile and web. Our platforms and products lead the financial industry. They offer fantastic opportunities for designers to really push the bounds of what's possible, and deliver outstanding experiences for our customers.
The role is in the Workspace Experience Design team, based in London. The team is responsible for product design across a wide range of systems, platforms and products. We work closely with both the proposition/strategy teams as well as the product management and technology teams. You will work closely with a core team of lead and senior designers who together have a great deal of experience working on complex desktop, mobile and web applications, and in designing for finance and risk professionals.
What you'll be doing

• Crafting UI designs for complex products
• Raising the level of visual design craft in our design solutions!
• Helping ensure designs meet our standards for visual language and accessibility
• Collaborating with other members of the Experience Design team, including User Researchers, Service Designers, UX Designers and Content Designers
• Partnering with Product and Engineering teams to ensure visual design is part of the product development process
• Contributing to and evolving our Design System
• Communicating design rationale and progress to peers and leadership

What you'll need

• Significant experience visual design for applications in complex domains, highly preferred with a track record of success in financial services!
• Visual design expertise in typography, colour, hierarchy and layout
• Specialist experience in Figma
• Experience working with an enterprise-scale design system
• Staying on top of new ideas and standards in UI design
• Portfolio demonstrating how you work and the quality of your visual design
