A very well known tech brand is looking to add to its established product team. We’re seeking someone passionate about building platforms, deeply understands the complicated regulatory and commercial environment around payments, values simple interfaces for complex products and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role you will help define and shape the overall Payments function.

The Role:

• Clearly articulate and take ownership of the Payments platform within the organisation.
• Oversee the entire payment ecosystem, spanning from inbound payments to partner pay outs and the associated accounting and ledgering processes.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive, long-term product roadmap aligning with strategic business and technical objectives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams (Engineering, Product, Marketing, Finance, Trust & Safety, Legal) and external partners to leverage their expertise, enhancing the overall value of the platform.
• Understand business stakeholder needs and effectively translate them into clear product requirements. Develop business cases, assess implementation options, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery.

What we are looking for:

• Over 10 years of product management experience, with a focus on complex payment products at scale for at least 5 years.
• In-depth knowledge of the intricate regulatory and commercial landscape surrounding payments.
• Strong understanding of APIs, with expertise in creating and sharing REST APIs; experience in API usage is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strategic thinking, and adept stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to simplify complex regulatory and financial requirements into actionable plans. Proficient in swiftly identifying, communicating, and resolving technical issues with multiple engineering teams and business stakeholders.
