Principal Teacher Of Pastoral Care And Support

The School is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team of six Principal Teachersof Pastoral Care and Support.   Our aim at the High School of Dundee is that every pupil will receive sector-leading Pastoral Care and Support. Every pupil should be known as an individual and provided with the right support to allow them to flourish in every area of our curriculum, co-curriculum, and wider life. This support should encompass the whole of their Senior Years journey and includes the key points of transition both into the Senior Years and beyond the High School.  The Principal Teacher of Pastoral Careand Support plays a key role in building and maintaining positive relationships with pupils and their families. This role is complemented by their leadership of our PSHE programme and their engagement with, and delivery of, the Pastoral Improvement Plan. Interested candidates are welcome to make informal enquiries in advance of the closing date.
