Form of workElevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a leading sustainable engineering business to recruit a Principle Engineer to join their Doncaster facility.
Our client is looking for someone with a strong work ethic with the ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines, knowledge of writing technical reports and a working understanding of PLC programming and control logic.
The Principle Engineer will collaborate on broad range of projects, from conception through to commissioning.
Other duties of the Principle Engineer will include:
- Lead/Undertake Electrical Engineering Design which includes production, design and modification of schematics, loop drawings, cable routing, panel layout drawings, block cable diagrams and motor starter panels.
- Electrical functional design of control system.
- Support production and oversee work of electrical installation engineers
- Drafting of scope of works, bill of materials, termination schedules, equipment data sheets, cables schedules, labelling schedules, proof testing documents and cable transfer documents.
- Ensuring as-built electrical documents are complete for factory acceptance testing.
- Commissioning Support
To be successful in this Principle Engineer role we are looking to speak with Engineers with the following:
- Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics Engineer or similar
- Experience in a Commercial Electrical Engineering business
- Possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering & Standards
- Experience in designing electrical systems
- Knowledge of Functional Safety Assessments and SIL verification would be ideal
- Experience in working in Hazardous Areas in compliance with ATEX and IECEx standards would be advantageous
