Print it Stitch it Ltd specialises in the production and supply of Printed and Embroidered garments to businesses, SME’s and individuals across the UK. Every day is different bringing new challenges and variety to the job role.
We are looking for a candidate that is creative, ambitious and enthusiastic to join a small fast paced team, who will grow with the company and add support and value. Training will be provided however good fundemental computer skills are required.
The successful candidate will be part of a small but productive team, they will be expected work directly with customers collecting scope/concept and work in each part of the design and production process.
The applicant will need to be able work as part of a team & be self motivated to react to tight deadlines. Independent problem solving, self motivation, initiative, and flexibility are vital in a small business like ours.
Main Accountabilities:
- Making stuff... we produce most of our orders in-house, you will be making printed and embroidered goods.
- Be creative designing custom orders following customer brief using computer.
- We have lots of cool equipment and stuff to make stuff, get hands on making what was designed. sounds cool but way cooler than it sounds.
- There is some paperwork but atleast it is electronic
- Follow procedures and policies
- Be able to work calmly and effectively under tight deadlines
- Look after our stuff, it's expensive to repair
- Basic level stock control
- Customer service
Profile and skills:
- A positive, friendly and out-going team player prepared to collaborate effectively with team members, but also self-motivated and able to work individually
- Ability to effectively share/ take over project with/from fellow team member(s)
- Ability to take initiative and ready to self-challenge
- Good planning and organizational skills, excellent time management, flexibility, efficiency under pressure and ability to correctly prioritise is essential
- Great communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience / efficent use of Adobe / Coral Draw
- Knowledge of printing processes - an advantage.
Education/Qualification/Training
- Computer Literate
- Graphic Design package experience - desireable
- Min of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent. To include English and Maths
- Training on our Embroidery Machine and print machines will be provided.
- Modern Apprentiship - Available to right candidate if candidate would like to gain formal qualifications.

Experience of software & machinery similar to the following used in our production department would be helpful but not essential;
- Adobe CC : Illustrator, Photoshop

- Brother & Tajima Embroidery Machines
- Graphtec cutter
- Mimaki CVJ150 - Rasterlink
