We are looking for a candidate to join our embellishment team to work to KitKings high standards and set lead times. You will be working Monday to Friday within a flexible hour structure typically settling into 08:30 – 17:00 during off peak periods but flexing out to either earlier starts or later finishes during peak periods.
Experience in plotting, cutting and pressing of garments would be ideal.
What we’re looking for:
· Someone with an eye for detail.
· Good manual dexterity.
· Good numeracy and literacy.
· Good communicator to internal staff.
· Able to work well with an established team and happy to work alone once fully trained.
· Experience in the garment printing industry would be advantageous but full training will be provided on site.
Day to day responsibilities:
· Prepare and embellish garments.
· Contributing to improving the production processes
· Meeting production quality standards and tight deadlines at all times.
· Using the software, plotter and heat press to produce customer garment artwork and orders
· Able to maintain consistency on location and quality of embellishments
· Able to achieve target output per day.
· Apply various embellishments to garments using a heat press.
· Maintaining tidiness of your workspace and the department (daily and weekly).
· Troubleshoot any irregularities that may occur when handling customer’s orders.
· Candidates who show aptitude will be trained on further areas in the department.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4-5 months
Pay: £10.00-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
