Legal Secretary - Wills and Probate
Reed Legal are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to work in a Private Client department. Working for a solicitor Partner, the successful candidate will need to have a good working knowledge of wills and probate.
Required Skills and Attributes
• Previous Legal Secretary experience in Wills preferred including drafting and preparing Private Client department documents, wills, power of attorney, probate and trust documents, Inheritance Tax returns, correspondence, file notes and related papers
• Fast and accurate typing with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with experience of liaising with colleagues and clients, obtaining ID and due diligence documents.
• Awareness of client confidentiality, the Solicitors' Conduct and Accounts Rules, Anti Money Laundering responsibilities and general compliance
• Filing and file management, diary management
• Friendly and approachable, willingness to learn, ability to use initiative, proactive
• An organised worker with good time and work management skills who prioritises work load
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Full time 35 hours week Monday to Friday
Salary £25,000.00-£28,000.00 depending on experience
Part time considered Pro Rata
