My client is a prominent law firm situated in the heart of the City of London, providing extensive legal service to diverse businesses and private individuals, including multinationals, public and private companies, partnerships, public sector organizations, and Private Clients.
Our Private Client Property team, within the Private Wealth Department, specialises in handling residential and commercial property matters for Private Clients, high net-worth families, trusts, and family offices. Currently supported by a Senior Associate and trainee, the team is set to expand.
This role seeks an individual capable of actively contributing to the growth of our bustling residential practice. The ideal candidate will primarily function as a residential property associate, managing their own files under appropriate supervision. Additionally, they may assist on larger residential transactions and, if experienced in commercial property, could undertake occasional commercial property work.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring high-level client service
- Conducting work efficiently and to professional standards
- Providing competent and prompt advice within budget
- Recording time diligently and ensuring timely billing
- Strengthening client relationships and actively marketing department services
- Building a network of contacts with third parties
- Involvement in all matters, including administration.
- Assisting in the supervision of trainee solicitors
- Compliance with SRA continuing education requirements
- Contributing to knowledge management and pursuing efficiency and excellence
The ideal candidate:
- 2-3 PQE
- Demonstrates competence in all areas of residential property law, including leasehold matters and residential secured lending.
- Establishes strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and professionals at all levels.
- Is a confident, professional, and empathetic team player.
- Displays a keen interest in business development and is willing to engage in marketing initiatives.
- Aligns behaviours with the firm's values and expectations.
