About the Role:
As a Private Client Tax Senior, you'll be an integral part of a close-knit team dedicated to serving the firm's wealthiest clients. You will have the opportunity to work on complex tax matters, providing expert advice and guidance to individuals with intricate financial affairs. This role will allow you to showcase your technical skills, while also providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of Private Clients, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and executives.
- Advising clients on a range of tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts.
- Conducting tax planning and identifying opportunities for tax optimisation within the parameters of relevant legislation.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborating with colleagues across different service lines to provide integrated solutions for clients.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification (ATT, CTA, ACA, or QBE) with a strong tax background in tax environment.
- Significant experience in Private Client Tax, gained within a reputable accountancy practice or professional services firm.
- Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation and its practical application to Private Clients.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to analyse complex tax issues.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills with a track record of building and maintaining long-term client partnerships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters in a clear and concise manner.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
