The Role
As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Private Equity fund compliance team, responsible for the delivery of tax reporting for some of the UK's largest and most complex funds. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment that emphasises fund compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Review: Oversee the quality review of a portfolio of large and/or complex Private Equity fund clients.
- Client Management: Manage a client portfolio of Private Equity fund groups, ensuring the delivery of high-quality output directly to clients.
- Consulting Projects: Identify potential consulting projects arising from compliance work.
- Team Management: Collaborate with senior staff to manage the overall team, including people, finances, technology, and marketing.
- Work Transition: Oversee the transition of work into the Private Equity fund compliance team.
- Technical Support: Provide tax technical assistance and support to the team, ensuring the delivery of quality output.
- Technology Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of technology to support Private Equity fund compliance work.
- Market Offering: Work alongside advisory teams to promote the Private Equity fund compliance offering to the market.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Private Equity Compliance Expertise: Extensive experience in Private Equity Partnership computations and returns, investor reporting, and general partner corporate tax returns.
- Client Delivery: Proven ability to deliver quality work directly to clients.
- Professional Qualifications: ATT, CTA, AAT, or ACA qualified.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams both technically and in all aspects of quality delivery.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Client Management: Strong experience in client management and relationship building.
