The Palace Hotel is a 186 bedroom-hotel that boasts the elegant Dovedale Restaurant, which offers traditional cuisine, as well as operating unique conference & banqueting facilities, popular for weddings and town events.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Full-Time Proactive sale executive. Main duties will include:

• Develop sales strategies, including packages and pricing, maximize sales & revenue across all Hotel Facilities
• Attend outside commitments and attend networking events, including exhibitions for the hotel and collectively for the company.
• Carry out Proactive Sales calls.
• Working close with the community with current standing organisations and new leads.

• Work closely with the Sales Manager on developing business opportunities for your given portfolio of accounts.
• Continue to grow business in your own segment, by proactively searching for new leads.
• Entertain guests while hosting show around inspections of the hotel.
• Create and implement the hotel sales strategy to drive performance.
• Drive sales across all market segments into the hotel, in particular events at the hotel.

The successful candidate will communicate effectively with other managers, staff, and guests. The ideal candidate will be organised, punctual and efficient.
