Job description

As a Process Manufacturing Engineer, reporting to the Process Engineering Leader, you will be a key player in ensuring our operations' reliability and efficiency. This full-time, hands-on role involves collaborating with Production engineers, supervising daily operations, and developing clear procedures for production operators. We are proud of our forward-thinking approach and seek a talented individual to contribute to maintaining our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain optimal process parameters for efficient equipment and production in alignment with quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain clear procedures for production operators, supervising and supporting daily operations of production technicians.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency.
  • Analyse process failures, losses, and quality incidents, developing preventive measures.
  • Manage change control, root cause analysis, and quality events.
  • Propose advanced technological processes and actively participate in equipment upgrade projects.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or HND/HNC equivalent (minimum) in ELECTRICAL or MECHANICAL discipline.
  • Time-served apprenticeship in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Multi-skilled with competence in working safely on process equipment involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems.
  • Proficient in generating and modifying drawings, preferably using AutoCAD.
  • Previous process improvement experience in industrial automated manufacturing, preferably in medical device manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.
