Process Safety Engineer

You'll be responsible for providing additional Process Safety support for a range of business initiatives at their UK sites, RAF Bases, Major Projects, and other relevant locations, potentially including Singapore and Gibraltar.Benefits you'll get• 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays• Option to buy or sell up to a week holiday • Life Assurance 4 x annual salary• Private Health Care• Excellent defined contribution pension scheme• Employer contributions at double the employees + 1% • Maximum employer contribution of 15%• Free financial advice relating to pension scheme• Cycle to work scheme• Employee discount platform• Flexible workingWhat you'll be doing• Ensure compliance with legislation to mitigate risks and enhance safety and efficiency in design and operations.• Conduct various assessments, including Hazardous Area Classification, HAZOPs, SIL/LOPA assessments, Human Factor Assessments, Environmental Risk Assessments, and more.• Contribute to the development and upkeep of COMAH Safety Reports for relevant controlled sites.• Support Business initiatives, Major Projects, and minor works projects, as needed.• Assist in selecting improved safety measures for engineering changes.• Promote key health, safety, environment, and quality targets for business core functions.• Design and deliver training for line management, staff, and third-party partners.• Monitor and report on the timely resolution of corrective actions.• Provide regular reports on HSSE performance data for internal and external stakeholders. • Evaluate HSSEQ tenders for contract awards.What you'll need• Engineering graduate with NEBOSH qualifications and DSEAR experience.• Minimum 5 years in health and safety management in high-risk industry.• Extensive expertise in Process Safety management and understanding of MAHs relating to tank storage operations / COMAH regulations.What next?We appreciate your CV may not be up to date.
