40 hours per week Monday to Friday

JOB PURPOSE
Process Technicians play a key role in the preparation and execution of all manufacturing steps to produce high quality products for our patients and clients. This includes manufacturing for product development, clinical trials and commercial supply.
A graded structure is in place to support individual development, progression, and succession planning.

MAIN DUTIES
- To work as a flexible, motivated member of the team - responding positively to changes in demand & priority.
- To always work in a safe manner (in compliance with the health and safety at work act and all other relevant legislation), wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and not endanger the safety of themselves, their colleagues, or the product.
- To act at all times in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), as defined in the rules & guidance for pharmaceutical manufacturers & Distributers ('Orange Guide') and report any issues
- To follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and standard work instructions (SWIs) applicable and in which the individual has been trained.
- To use the Catalent reporting systems to highlight issues or potential hazards.
- To stay up to date with all training requirements as identified in the job holders training plan
- To actively participate in continuous improvement activities, initiating ideas and taking ownership for actions
- To routinely operate process equipment and execute manufacturing instructions to produce high quality product
- To ensure safe, compliant, smooth & efficient execution of their assigned responsibilities in accordance with their training - ensuring that processes, process areas and equipment are never compromised by non-adherence to GMP.
- To maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping within all GMP areas
- To use understanding of processes and equipment to highlight abnormal events, support day to day trouble shooting, identify and progress improvement activities within the bounds of GMP.
- To be a flexible and committed learner, continually developing skills to enable cross-skilling across multiple work areas and products.
