Our client is seeking a Procurement Advisor to join their team within a Central Government Body with the Public Sector. This is a hybrid position which means you do not have to travel so much so you will be able to save time and money.
As a Procurement Advisor you will manage a distinct area of spend which supports the delivery of IAT programme objectives. Lead procurement projects: supporting the draft of specifications, contracts and managing the Invitation to Tender (ITT) and evaluation processes using the eProcurement platform Jaggaer.
Essential:
Understanding of Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015
Experience of delivering procurements in the public sector. This will include good commercial awareness and judgement with the ability to understand, control and mitigate risks
Practical Hands-on experience of the End-to-End Procurement Process within the Public Sector
Experience of running multiple procurements and projects concurrently
Experience of Framework call offs (GCloud, DOS etc.)
ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
