We have a great opportunity for a Procurement Analyst within our diagnostics team.
The role has responsibility to support the lead analysts and business manager in planning, designing, and implementing business solutions across the Medical Technology Category Teams and holds responsibility for supporting the transformation and improvement of business intelligence/reporting and solutions.
What does a Procurement Analyst do at NHS Supply Chain?
The role of Procurement Analyst will involve liaising with various internal stakeholders, handling large quantities of data from multiple sources, working on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and dealing with queries.
As a Procurement Analyst, you will be working alongside the Data and Insight Analysts, supporting the production of regular reporting requests such as Benchmark Cost Analysis and Spend Analysis requests. This will include, but is not limited to:
- Extracting large quantities of data from multiple systems
- Preparing and validating data for analysis
- Undertaking analysis such as Benchmark Cost Analysis and Spend Analysis
- Validating analysis results
What skills, qualifications, and qualities do I need to be successful?
Knowledge of strategic planning systems and protocols to support others.
Experience in responding to requests and managing data.
Managing workload and ability to prioritise
Communication and collaboration skills
Stakeholder Management experience
Degree qualification or relevant experience
