Procurement Business Partner

AWE is currently recruiting for a Procurement Business Partner to join our growing team, focusing on the product delivery business function, that includes manufacturing of components and build of product.

As a Procurement Business Partner, you will act as single point of contact for your business function for all Supply Chain activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders, understanding and mitigating risks, and promoting category management and sourcing strategies.

We would like you to have experience of:

• Working within a buying role with an understanding of supply chain

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing contracts

• Application of supplier management strategies to maximise benefits and minimise risk

• Working with multiple stakeholders and delivering multiple objectives, on time in full

• Dealing tactfully and constructively with challenging people and situations

• Public procurement regulations is desirable

Key Accountabilities:

• Sourcing contribution (including efficiencies and risk mitigation)

• Ensure category strategies and preferred supplier lists are communicated and implemented

• Building relationships through early involvement and proactive engagement

• Contribute to make/buy preparation and decisions

• Contribute and support the development of customized sourcing solution strategies and plans for Stakeholders

• Support and provide input to the Process and Performance team as appropriate.

• Support the development and interface with the Service Centre

Package: from £43,000 to £65,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
