AWE is currently recruiting for a Senior Procurement Business Partner to join our growing team. We ideally seek an individual with previous procurement experience, who is capable of managing multiple stakeholders, to get involved in demand planning for key manufacturing programmes.
As a Senior Procurement Business Partner, you will act as single point of contact for your designated business function for all Supply Chain activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders, understanding and mitigating risks, and promoting category management, sourcing strategies and demand management planning.

We would like you to have experience of:
Working within a Category Manager, buyer or similar procurement role and with an understanding of Supply chain
Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing contracts
Application of supplier management strategies to maximise benefits and minimise risk
Working with multiple stakeholders and delivering multiple objectives, on time in full
Dealing tactfully and constructively with challenging people and situations
Public procurement regulations is desirable
Key Accountabilities:
Sourcing contribution (including efficiencies and risk mitigation)
Demand management planning
Ensure category strategies and preferred supplier lists are communicated and implemented
Drive Business Ideas, Strategies and Preferred Supplier Lists, securing that that category strategies and preferred supplier list are implemented
Identify needs in projects and product areas and anticipate trends to ensure that they are incorporated and addressed in Category and Sourcing strategies
Building relationships through early involvement and proactive engagement
Represent and secure Supply Chain interest at Stakeholders decision and strategy forums
Develop customized sourcing solution strategies and plans
Contribute to make/buy preparation and decisions
Support and provide input to the Process and Performance team as appropriate
Support the development and interface with the Service Centre
Package: from £57,000 to £75,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
