Procurement Business Partner

Boston Hale is currently partnering with one of the NHS’s largest trusts to recruit for both a clinical and non-clinical Procurement Business Partner/category manager on an interim basis.

Both roles can be largely remote with visits to site once every two weeks or when required for essential stakeholder meetings.

The roles will suit candidates with a collaborative work ethic and a self-driven approach to complete projects to set deadlines. NHS experience is ideal but not essential for someone with procurement experience and a drive to succeed.

Duties include:

• To support senior stakeholders in the development and implementation of procurement and supply chain strategies
• Manage high value strategic sourcing projects
• Work closely with category leads to ensure the provision of products, equipment and services are effectively monitored
• Provide market intelligence to identify opportunities
• Facilitate strategic initiatives such as sustainable procurement and collaborative opportunities
• Provide information to support procurement projects
• Support the training, development and success planning for teams across the trust
• Work with colleagues at all levels to ensure service, operational, clinical and patient requirements are identified and fully considered

Ideal candidate:

• A significant understanding of public procurement
• Excellent commercial and influence skills, business acumen and drive
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Accurate and confident with analytical data and decision making
