This role is part of the Group Procurement & Commercial Management Team, responsible for delivering the commercial activities. It is a centre of excellence, which provides guidance and operational support on programmes and major projects, policy and procedure, commercial management to drive performance, innovation and strategic savings delivery as well as assurance and performance monitoring.

Description
- Proactive in identifying and developing further ways in which the team can deliver further commercial value to the group.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and leading specific strategic sourcing programmes for a defined category
- Significant experience in the identification of value engineering opportunities and the preparation and application of accurate and robust procurement documentation inclusive of whole Life Cost analysis
- Experience or knowledge of managing multiple stakeholders and line managing employees
- Significant experience in the implementation of efficient and effective procurement projects within key markets for specified categories of expenditure
- Ability to develop and implement procurement market strategies
Profile
- Demonstrable IT related procurement experience
- CIPS qualification/membership and/or demonstrable professional procurement experience
- Procurement/Commercial/Project Management degree or technical background complimented by suitable commercial acumen
