My client is a Procurement Consultancy Firm powerhouse. Since being established over 20 years ago they have enjoyed steady and consistent growth and are now working with some of the largest and most popular brands from around the world. They are now looking to take on an ambitious Procurement Consultant to join their developing team and contribute to their market-leading mission.

As a Procurement Consultant you will aim to support the implementation of innovative supply chain solutions, striving to reduce costs and maximise efficiency. In doing so you will work across all procurement sectors - including, but not limited to FMCG Procurement, Healthcare Procurement, Retail Procurement, and Hospitality Procurement - gaining an immense array of experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to progress rapidly, looking at moving into Senior Procurement Consultant, and Procurement Category Lead positions within 12-18 months.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Using your commercial insight to identify potential opportunities for growth and engage with key stakeholder to develop procurement transformation plans.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within various blue-chip clients, to fully understand their vision for continuous improvement.
• Supporting the delivery of a range of traditional strategic procurement activities - including but not limited to, supplier analysis, contracting and negotiations, contract management and supplier relationship management.

You will have:

• Good experience within the Procurement industry, ideally acquired across multiple categories, both direct and indirect.
• Demonstrable experience of successfully managing and influencing senior clients and stakeholders.
• A track record of managing high amounts of spend and delivering on cost reduction and commercial success.
• A strong academic background, ideally through a degree in a procurement or supply chain related qualification.

Procurement candidates must have full rights to work in the UK and be 100% business fluent in English.
