Procurement Manager (Indirect)
Leicester – Hybrid/Remote (1 day in office, 4 at home)
£60-70k
Are you experienced in setting up procurement processes from scratch? Do you have good knowledge of contract management and negotiation?
A fast-paced services business based in Leicester is looking to recruit to Procurement Manager to head up and build their function from the bottom up. This is a newly created role which reports into the CFO.
You’d be working for a business that has grown exponentially over the last 6 years as a result of their success. If that doesn’t impress you, then their offices definitely will…
A really modern space to suit everyone – whether that’s using their onsite gym or spending time in their quiet areas to recharge, your needs would be catered for.
They are very flexible when it comes to days in the office and core hours worked. You’ll have all the flexibility you need to have the perfect home/life balance.
Day to day you’d be responsible for:
- Implementing a procurement function from scratch.
- Setting up and managing contracts including drafting and negotiation.
- Manage a range of GNFR categories varying from low value cleaning and waste contracts to higher value software procurement.
- Analyse sales data and forecast procurement needs.
- Review and research supplier performance.
As you’ll be setting up processes from scratch, you’ll need to be comfortable with MS Excel and handling large amounts of data. That being said, it’s equally as important to be proactive when communicating with other departments and getting your face in front of the right people.
Ideally, you’ll also be:
- CIPS qualified (Level 5 and above).
- Experienced in software procurement.
