They are looking for a talented and driven Procurement Manager, based at their office on the outskirts of Plymouth, to join their team and play a key role in their continued growth and success.

The Role:

As Procurement Manager, you'll lead a small, dedicated team, ensuring the right products and services are acquired at the best possible price while maintaining the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for planning, leading, and driving continuous improvement in all aspects of procurement.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement annual procurement plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and coach your team, fostering a culture of engagement and development.
• Manage stock availability, inventory levels, and budgets effectively.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, securing optimal terms and conditions.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and systems within the procurement team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and achieve shared goals.

• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, in a UK Business
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
• Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools.
• A willingness to grow in the role and develop the position
• Experience in procuring supplies from India, while not mandatory, will be an advantage
