Procurement Manager - Building Services (Office based)

Up to £40000-£45000 + Training + Bonus + Benefits

Having been in the industry for over 50 years and widely seen as a leader in their field, our client is now expanding the operational side of their business. A key focus for the company currently is to ensure all business partnerships are up to date and suppliers have the latest SLA's in place.

To make all this possible they are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to help maintain existing processes, train members of the team whilst identifying areas for improvement.

To apply, the Procurement Manager will have the following background:

• Proven experience working in procurement at a management level.
• Knowledge of buying within the Building Services or construction industry would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a bubbly personality
• A desire to learn a new market.
• Full driving license or within 40 minutes of the office.

Key duties for the Procurement Manager will include:

• Speaking to material suppliers ensuring best prices are in place and delivery times are understood.
• Analysing spending trends to assist in forecasting for future projects including competitor analysis.
• Providing training and professional guidance to the buying and administration team.
• Attending monthly meetings with the management team.
• Meeting key clients where needed to assist the project tender process.
• Maintaining client and supplier details on an CRM system.

The Procurement Manager will receive full training on the market and all internal software, plus the opportunity to progress taking on more responsibility as the company continues to grow.
