Job description:
Due to internal movement, we are looking for a Procurement Manager - Packaging to join our friendly and dynamic team. As a Procurement Manager looking after our Packaging category, you will be able to demonstrate experience of maintaining live knowledge of supply markets. Alongside the ability to develop collaborative relationships with key suppliers, you will understand strategic sourcing methodologies, coupled with strong analytical thinking skills, and the ability identify market trends and issues.
To excel in this role, this role requires an individual who is a skilled negotiator adept at managing complex negotiations. For this role, we're really keen to bring in someone who is an effective and highly adaptable communicator with strong networking and relationship building skills. This role would really suit somebody who has an understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies.
You will have the ability to think laterally, utilising problem-solving skills to develop new approaches and be an effective and highly adaptable communicator with strong networking and relationship building skills. Working with a team of passionate professionals, you'll be instrumental in driving the procurement strategy forward.

The Key Requirements...- To develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies that support our business objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of markets and supply chains.
- To identify and implement collaborative relationships with key suppliers where appropriate.
- Negotiate and implement complex/high risk contracts, through a range of tendering processes to meet business needs.
- To provide ongoing support to the Development, Brand and Manufacturing teams through sourcing strategies and pricing forecasts.
- To identify and implement key packaging trends, risks and opportunities aligned to our business strategies.
As a Procurement Manager - Packaging, you will be motivated by the opportunity to develop collaborative relationships with key suppliers. Your remit would be to assure the supply of key packaging lines to our factories across the country. This role is about developing new approaches and driving the procurement strategy forward.
