Procurement Manager - Wilmslow area
40,000- 45,000 + Benefits + Bonus
Leading building services consultancy are adding to their delivery team and they are now looking for a Procurement Manager to drive the business forward and ensure business contracts with material suppliers are current, market analysis is undertaken and sub-contractor contractual agreements are all in place.
Key duties will include
- Ensuring SLA's are in place with all suppliers improving pricing and delivery estimations for productivity.
- Undertaking cost analysis and forecasting future spend/requirements against market trends and business activity.
- Working closely with all operational sides of the business, attending regular management meetings providing expertise and process guidance for improvement.
- Being the primary point of contact for stock management ensuring data is current and issues are highlighted through the administration and middle management team.
- Assisting with the training of other members of the team.
The successful Procurement Manager will need the following background
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Procurement Manager or similar role.
- First class negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail and business processes.
- Knowledge of the building services or facility management market highly desirable
- Full driving license.
The successful Procurement Manager will receive full training on all internal software but must be goal orientated and demonstrate the confidence to highlight areas for change and improvement and assist in the growth of the business.
