Procurement Officer

Your new company
I am recruiting for a rapidly expanding not-for-profit organisation who provide services to the South Yorkshire region. They are looking to add a Procurement Officer to their commercial team.
Your new role

As Procurement Officer, you will be supporting the Head of Procurement who assists large procurements of services and goods for the organisation.
Main duties include;

• Running Procurements for the organisation through frameworks and tenders following public procurement legislation
• Deliver procurements that deliver value for money as well as cost savings
• Implement a procurement strategy across the organisation
• Establish and develop relationships with suppliers
• Manage procurement with stakeholders in other departments

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Previous experience working within a Procurement function
• Experience of contract management
• Experience working with procurement regulations
• Commercial expertise with a track record of delivering value for money as well as savings
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
