The company is looking for talented procurement professionals who wish to work at a business that truly makes an impact for the greater good. As a Procurement Senior Buyer for High-Value Projects, you will be engaged in in some of the most critical infrastructure programs that will enable the UK to achieve its future net-zero goals.

Your work as a Procurement Senior Buyer won't just be focused on delivering cost savings on your projects but ensuring a well-managed end-to-end tendering program that will effectively manage high-value and high-risk projects from inception to delivery.

To be considered for the position of Procurement Senior Buyer - High-Value Projects you should have at least the following key skills and experiences:-

• A proven track record in managing high-value tendering events in either a public or private sector framework
• Expertise in managing complex projects involving vast amounts of internal and external stakeholder management and clear communication across multiple business functions
• Procurement expertise that goes beyond basic cost savings and identifies value throughout the entire value chain
• Strong project management and organizational skills to keep track of project documentation, RAID logs, project plans, reports, and RACIs
• Excellent analytical skills to collect, manipulate, and report on project data related to spend performance and other metrics that will be useful to executive decision-making
• Prior industry experience in a similar field of civil infrastructure such as rail, energy, transport, construction, or water
