As Procurement Specialist, primarily you will oversee spend and supplier relations within our major projects business as well as associated category spend responsibility nationally.
The main role is to drive strategic supplier relations both within Major Projects and nationally.
In this exciting role, the main responsibilities you will have, is strategic supplier development, contracts, and compliance. You will drive supplier performance improvements, ensure utilization of subcontractor performance for effective business allocation, segmentation and ranking, guide improvements in productivity, and scouting and identify procurement opportunities and risks.
Ideal Skills, Education and Experience:
- CIPS level 4 in procurement is desirable.
- Proven experience with strategic procurement and the supply chain management is essential.
- Lift industry experience is desirable or experience in Construction / Manufacturing / Engineering is beneficial.
- Capability to work effectively and implement change in line with our business and front-line teams.
- Adept at managing projects independently as well as working with other business functions.
- Clear communication skills, fluent English language skills.
- Analytical and strategic thinking.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel on site and supplier visits.
- Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel experience.
