As a key player, you will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring seamless project execution and fostering supplier partnerships.
Job Description
As a Procurement Specialist, your role will consist but not be limited to: Support engineering & design projects by managing the procurement process from start to finish.
Collaborate with project teams to understand procurement requirements, specifications, and time lines.
Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers in line with customer & company specifications.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and budgets.
Skillfully negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, securing favourable terms.
Monitor procurement progress, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Ensure timely delivery of goods & services by expediting the supply chain.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Procurement Specialist will: CIPS qualification or willingness to work towards it.
Technical/project procurement experience (construction, civil engineering or EPC industry preferred).
Familiarity with NEC contracts (desirable, not essential).
Proficiency in procurement-to-pay process, supplier management, and more.
Experienced in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
Detail-oriented, stress-resistant, and ethical.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
