The Role
As a Producrement and Supply Chain Administrator, your role will be to ensure the Supply Chain is secure.
This role is vital to the organisation in ensuring the right product at the right time through inventory optimisation, meeting customer needs, balancing supply and demand, minimizing stockouts, and reducing excess inventory.
- Sourcing of Procurement items.
- PR conversion and error handling on assigned PR and PO including transmission to suppliers.
- Run daily open purchase order reports to maintain control.
- Expedite purchase orders to ensure delivery dates are met by reviewing outstanding purchase orders regularly.
- Secure supply which matches the businesses needs for materials and services thus ensuring product suitability and continuity of supply.
- Ensure effective implementation of agreed procurement processes and compliance of supply base. Ensure Requisition Processes are documented and followed in the company.
- Utilise Procurement tools and processes based on global procurement strategies in a business orientated mode of operation.
- Ensure cooperation with internal stakeholders regarding forecasting.
- Monitor and update forecast accuracy, implement improvements, and escalate when required.
- Execute MRP reviews and optimization in co-operation with other Production and Supply Chain Role Players.
- Ensure that customer demand is met on time while avoiding excess inventory with accurate MRP settings.
- Assist with company stock takes to validate stock accuracy.
- Maintain stock accuracy while communicating with the warehouse and company logistics on a daily basis.
- Product Material Master extension and maintenance for new/existing materials.
- Keep the product master data updated and complete.
- Provide and prepare labels and transfer stock while communicating with the warehouse.
- Setting example / communicating group values and principles. Interaction and co-operation with relevant internal interfaces.
Successful Applicants
Successful applicants will hold the following skills/experience:
- A minimum of two years expereice in procurement or Supply Chain.
- Educated to a minimum A-Level (Or equivalent) standard.
- Computer literate.
- Experienced user or Microsoft office.
- Stong SAP and Excel experience.
- Good analytical and negotiating skills. Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational skills with ability to plan, manage and execute daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
