Active Recruiters are pleased to be recruiting for our highly reputable, manufacturing client who are looking to recruit an experienced Buyer/Procurement specialist to join their team.
You must have experience in a Buyer/Procurement/Purchasing/Supply Chain to apply for this position
Duties include but not limited to:
* Communicate effectively with suppliers across all communication methods
* Assist the team with research on new suppliers in terms of costing and quality
* Negotiate with new suppliers and process new contracts
* Arrange the documentation of imports and exports
* Obtain quotes from shippers and hauliers
* Oversee and maintain stock levels
* Resolve invoice queries
* Working with all internal departments on stock and materials needed
Ideally you will:
* Have experience in a similar role
* Be able to communicate effectively
* Be able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
