Role Overview
TP ICAP's Product Management group is responsible for driving innovation and evolution within the hybrid and pure electronic businesses. The group supports the Senior Managing Directors and Desk Heads in growing their hybrid business via design and delivery of new technologies and services, and driving adoption of these products and services with both new and existing clients.
The Product Management EMEA Rates role, manages the Global Broking Product and Business Development Management within the region for the Rates business line.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and communicate the product strategy, vision & roadmap for EMEA Fusion Rates Hub, ensuring these are aligned with the overall business and technology strategy.
- Work with stakeholder to define key objectives and ensure the product delivery adds tangible value to the business
- Understand markets, competitors and users and other external changes from a regulatory and client perspective within the electronic space.
- Develop the high level requirements and communicate these to product owners - work with delivery teams to steer the product to successful outcomes.
- Gather insights and feedback from customers, users and UAT sessions to improve the quality and value of the Product.
- Drive adoption and measure the value of the product with data driven approaches such as reporting of KPIs.
Essential
- Excellent communicator with good written and verbal & presentation skills with an outgoing and engaging personality.
- Solid experience in a similar change role with an financial markets institution such as a Dealer, Exchange, IDB or financial market infrastructure provider.
- Strong knowledge of Rates market structure and products from a trading, electronic market protocols and trade processing perspective.
- Experience in agile ways of working and delivery from a product management perspective
- Knowledge of market data and trading API's protocols and workflow in FIX.
- Background in the Rates pricing, analytics and risk.
- Strong understanding and experience of trading venues and execution protocols (CLOB, RFQ/RFS).
- Takes ownership of issues and works on their own initiative and is accountable for specific deliveries and goals, both team and individual.
- Familiar with key user interface design considerations for trading apps.
- Understanding of market infrastructure for straight through process in Rates space
