Product Design Lead

Lifelike human movement is a crucial part of making 3D animation feel real. However, digitising human movement is slow and expensive, requiring $10,000s-$1,000,000s to hand-animate each frame or using a special suit and studio.

Move AI is an applied AI research company that is transforming 3D creativity using motion, from a hobbyist in their bedroom to some of the largest organisations in the world (EA, Ubisoft and more). What is the role?

As Product Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual identity of the applications which interact with the Move Platform. Leveraging your expertise in both mobile and web applications, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, and execute intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance user engagement and drive overall product success. Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will own the design process for Move AI’s market leading products and contribute to brand identity and related design work.

Requirements

You must have:

• Lead the end-to-end Product Design process, from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
• Expert level UX design skills with specific experience of building fantastic web and mobile application experiences.
• Experience developing brand marketing web site landing pages, email design templates and related content.
• Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to translate user needs and business goals into intuitive and visually compelling design solutions.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive design strategy, encompassing mobile and web applications, that enhances the user experience and supports the overall product roadmap.
• Conduct comprehensive user research and usability testing to gather actionable insights and iterate on designs to meet user requirements and preferences.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Product Design, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Establish and uphold design standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and coherence across all product offerings.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, presenting design concepts and strategies to gain valuable feedback and support for design initiatives.
