Description
- Overseeing the product development process of lighting products from conception to manufacturing
- Work in close partnership with the design team fostering a collaborative work environment
- Ensuring product designs meet quality, cost and schedule requirements
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve product performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product success
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks related to product development
- Staying abreast of industrial/manufacturing trends and technologies
- Maintaining and improving departmental standards and procedures
Profile
A successful Product Manager should have:
- Experience in developing lighting products approved by the Lighting Industry Association (LIA).
- Proven technical product expertise within the lighting retail sector
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of product development processes and methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
