Job description

Are you looking for the next chapter in your career journey? You’ve come to the right place. We are always happy to hear from people who love learning and have their heart in the right place. Welcome home.

We’re looking for an experienced digital Product Manager to join our UK team on a 9 month fixed term contract. In this role you'll guide collaborative Futurice x client teams in building digital products, coaching and creating the right culture for success in a digital world. You’ll be working at both Exec level and directly with product teams to ensure the success of our work and of their organisations. If you’re passionate about the potential of digital transformation and the positive impact it has on people’s lives and our planet, then we would love to hear from you!

Sound like you?

  • You apply product management methods and co-creation to lead clients through the process of creating compelling and robust product visions supported by research and insight from the market and the client’s own values and capabilities.
  • You enjoy working closely with the client to craft a compelling product story and develop this into a coherent delivery approach applying Lean and Agile principles as appropriate.
  • You work alongside practice teams to bridge vision and strategy into product build through the use of various design methodologies and tools.
  • You work with internal and client delivery teams to lead product delivery end to end, ensuring the final product aligns with the client vision and strategy and is commercially viable. Often this includes agile coaching
  • You develop close, trust-based, working relationships with the client and are seen as the go-to person for Product Management expertise and guidance.

Some things we expect to see:

Strategic Thinking and Doing

  • Practical strategy formulation. Successful strategy is implementable - you can help formulate a strategy considering the client's current reality as well as their market now and potential future, and work with them to execute it.
  • Ability to combine various strategy methods to create an approach which is right for the client, based on where they are in their journey.
  • Handle complexity. You’re comfortable working with matrix organisations on a transformation journey as well as fuzzy problem areas.

A coaching mindset

  • You have worked with smart, independent people in the past and enjoy coaching and supporting them to help the team achieve great results.
  • You have an interest in the transformative possibilities of digital and enjoy working with people to bring out the best in them and unlock achievements.
  • You work with teams to embed a product culture and ways of working, and have evidence of helping organisations increase their product maturity and practices

A collaborative approach

  • You enjoy working closely with clients as a way to ensure product success.
  • You have experience working with multi-disciplinary teams that include clients, designers, developers and user researchers.
  • Empathy for different disciplines, backgrounds and perspectives. You are able to navigate teams through challenging phases of team formation and engagement delivery.

What we care about

Our Culture

We are human first. Mutual respect and trust is an essential condition, as is passion, talent and energy. All team members need to be self-starters and have a desire to be part of a work culture with a lean, flat structure, built on a foundation of Nordic straightforwardness.

How we work

We’re a talented team of designers, strategists, and software engineers working hard to create a progressive environment, culture, and set of capabilities. In the UK we operate a remote-first setup, centred on London, with regular days spent working together IRL as a full team. We take pride in our craft and a commitment to a people-first, one-team mentality.

Flexibility

Not a morning person? Need to pick the kids up from school? We believe in well-rested people doing concentrated, impactful work and offer flexible working hours and locations.

What we can offer you

  • Competitive salary
  • Company pension contribution of 6%
  • Private health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • 25 days of holidays, an extra day off for your birthday and 5 days of long-tenure holiday allowance (dependent on your tenure).
  • A tiered parental leave policy, which offers 16 weeks maternity full pay and up to 6 weeks partner full pay (dependent on your tenure)
  • Time and budget for personal development
  • Team get-togethers
  • Team trips and group activities
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • EV salary sacrifice

Don’t worry about whether you’re a 100% fit! Take a look at what we do and what we've done and get in touch. Don’t just tell us where you’ve worked or studied, tell us who you are, where you are heading, and why you want to join us!
