Product Marketing Manager

Smart Solutions are pleased to be recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager based in Swansea to take responsibility for positioning and promoting our clients products.

Job Purpose of the Product Marketing Manager:

Ensure there is clear differentiation between our clients marketing and its competitors through developing relevant USPs and propositions and to support the sales team, ensuring they have all of the sales collateral necessary to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager:

• To understand the competitiveness of our clients products against key competitors.
• Champion our clients market model pricing in order to track competitor’s pricing.
• Support the development of our clients pricing policy.
• To take responsibility for delivering reports and data required to support the development of sales and marketing.
• Management responsibility for the clients on-line presence.
• Manage the clients attendance at exhibitions and other customer events.
• To be actively involved in our clients product development and value engineering work, working effectively with our clients operations and quality management.

Skills and Experience Specification of the Product Marketing Manager:

• Product Management experience is essential.
• Demonstrate a commercial mindset; understanding costs, margin, ROI.
• Demonstrate an ability to understand customer needs, USPs and develop of propositions.
• A good working knowledge of marketing communications.
• High levels of numeracy and literacy (including MS Office).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Can work independently, problem-solve and be prepared to argue their case.
