Reed is e actively recruiting on behalf of an established IT Sales business for a permanent Product Specialist.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a background in the IT Sales industry. You will also need to be confident developing existing & building new client relationships.
The purpose of the role is to drive sales by coordinating promotions, call out days and demonstrations, and to drive the performance of the brand across all relevant sales floors. Using excellent product knowledge coupled with a strong desire to build relationships both internally & externally, you will drive the overall strategy of the brand across all sales channels.
As a Product specialist, you will be responsible for:
• Own, drive & execute strategy across all relevant sales floors.
• Establish, develop and maintain relationship at all levels.
• Own and build relationships with customers.
• Develop and manage strong pipeline of existing and future business.
• Forecast stock requirements.
• Educate and train internal sales teams to ensure they are up to date on current market trends, promotional activity, and new technologies.
• Plan prioritise and coordinate call out days and promotions to drive sales floor activity.
• Manage and lead call out days and promotions.
• Co-ordinate on-going training to meet the needs of the sales teams and new starters.
• Ensure all internal sales tools are updated on a regular basis.
• Understand & be aware of trends and market changes and how they may potentially impact the business.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders in sales, commercial and purchasing to ensure that communications and relations between the departments are effective.
• Use internal systems to track performance and challenge sales & customers where appropriate.
• Manage bid request process.
• First point of escalation to all product related queries.
