Contract: Temporary ongoing until December with the potential to be extended
Hours: fulltime Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary: 10.42ph - 12ph
Adecco is partnering with a company based in Stockport to recruit a Laboratory Assistant. This role involves supporting wheat and flour testing.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day analysis of Wheat and Flour in the lab
- Maintenance of CLAS and NABIM Accreditation for the laboratory
- Daily completion of lab testing and documentation
- Verifying product quality
- Completing customer certificates
- Collection, documentation, and storage of products
- Complete annual training review
- Ensure that excellent standards are established, maintained, and developed making sure food safety is top priority.
Requirements:
- Degree in something relating to laboratory testing is desired but not essential
- Prior lab experience in sample preparation and testing
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Team player with strong communication skills
