Role Responsibilities
Working across various departments, providing support as business need requires. This could include, but is not limited to, support for Logistics, Flat packing and general machine assistance.
Day to day responsibilities will include tasks such as:
- Movement of WIP using pallet trucks.
- Pile turning.
- WIP control.
- Feeding, stacking down, wrapping and strapping of finished goods within the gluing department.
- Hand packing, direct feed, wrapping and strapping of finished goods within the flat packing department.
- Preparation of outsourced board.
- Pile turning of WIP for each process.
- Operating equipment in a safe manner to ensure the safety of self and others.
- Adhering to and being an advocate for the Westrock Safety policy.
- Working within a team to ensure KPI’s are achieved.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage a wide variety of responsibilities.
- Good understanding of quality expectations.
