Job description

Technique Recruitment Solutions are working with our Norwich based client who are a major manufacturer of special purpose machines in the food industry with products sold and installed around the world.
Production Control & Purchasing Administrator - Part Time ongoing
Norwich based
Pay rate - £12.44 p/hr, with scope for a a slightly higher rate based around experience.
Hours of work - Mon to Friday, 4 hrs a day, with Monday being 08.30 to 12.30, then the rest of the week can start a bit later.
Our client are seeking a suitable candidate, who would have an eye for detail as it is mostly inputting data and printing but can also be cover for the purchaser so can be talking to suppliers.
Working within a small team of 3 people, there is scope for progression as our client in time we will be looking for a full time Procurement Officer so the job could evolve and become permanent for the right candidate.
Having knowledge of working within an engineering/manufacturing business or any technical knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
We are ideally looking for a start date on or after 13th November.
DAILY FUNCTIONS
1.1 Collecting & Input of all production timesheet data into the Dynamics system.
1.2 Assisting the Production Control Co-Ordinator in preparing all production work-order packs for distribution (Work-orders, drawings and pick lists).
1.3 Assisting the Buyer in processing supplier order acknowledgments.
1.4 General spares backorder report.
OTHER/ WEEKLY/ MONTHLY FUNCTIONS
1.5 Checking and ending of all works-order in Dynamics.
1.6 Printing & issuing of all timesheet data collection documents.
1.7 Assist the Buyer with general administrative tasks.
1.8 Assist the Production Control Co-ordinator with general administrative tasks.
1.9 Assist the Production Control Manager with general administrative tasks.
1.10 To manage internal components through the daily MRP. (Back-up only)
1.11 To order pre-existing components through the MRP. (Back-up only)
1.12 Compiling, sending and inputting data from routine chase lists to suppliers.
Additionally, the titleholder shall be required to carry out all such related duties as the Company may reasonably require.
