We are searching for a reliable, innovative Production Engineer to oversee manufacturing processes and procedures, You will join our growing global team of professionals, you should be a logical thinker and keen problem-solver able to diagnose problems, supporting our manufacturing team, and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain build procedures for product assembly.
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cost of ownership.
- Through process optimisation and DFx.
- Ensuring quality and efficiency is controlled through KPI s.
- Focused on opportunities to reducing our carbon footprint.
- Good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
- Specify and implement new equipment & processes, which add value to our customers.
- Write specifications and technical reports.
- Liaising with other engineers to develop ideas & continuous improvements.
- Diagnosing problems in production processes and implement solutions.
- Establishing safety procedures and protocols that takes our teams well-being into account.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in manufacturing technologies.
- Champion Lean 6-Sigma and continuous improvement culture.
- Change Management
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Relevant Experience.
- 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Optional Skills
- Experience of Valor/Aegis Factory Logix or similar
- Experience with working with PCB design formats such as ODB , Altium or similar
- Excel Spreadsheet / Pivot Tables / Data Manipulation
- IPC Experience
- 5S 6-Sigma Experience.
