Job Title Production Engineer
Location Leicester
Salary to 30K - 45k per annum
The Role
To provide Engineering support required for the Production processes of the business, focusing on quality, reviewing and advising on production methods, continuous improvement and reduction of scrap/waste, working closely to support the Head of Engineering
Preparation of documents, defining the production process, including preparatory works created from design drawings, with detailed descriptions of the individual work operations. Providing technical support to manufacturing including programming, internal & external production issues, ordering tooling/consumables.
37.5 hours per week but flexibility to work additional hours as required
Standard hours are 8.15am to 16.45pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 2pm on Friday

The Candidate
Educated to degree level BSc degree in Manufacturing Technology or similar and/or 5 years' experience in metal cutting manufacturer company
Experience within the manufacturing industry, preferably within the motorsport or Aerospace
Experience with CAD software
Experience with Kaizen, 5S, Continuous Improvement and Lean Enterprise practices
Experience with ISO 9001 requirements, basic knowledge of product liability
Communication skills consist of the ability to read, analyses, and interpret technical or complex documents
Proficient in the use of MS Office, ERP-systems
Ability to work in a team environment with a "Can Do" attitude
