ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is looking for an experienced, organised and detail-orientated Production Manager to support the production and delivery of a dedicated project. Focusing on a dedicated project with the opportunity to work across all of our content streams, the Production Manager will be instrumental in the organisation and running of this project. Coordinating in-house, third-party producer and key stakeholders to help shape production processes and best practices for a dedicated project. You will guide our internal and external partners through the life cycle of the productions. Along with some other team members, you will also assist with the smooth running of any recordings associated with the productions. The remit of this role is broad, exciting and challenging.
This role is initially open for a 22-month contract and is based in London.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Audible's Content Team is responsible for the commissioning and delivery of world class audio entertainment. We are a highly creative team who use data and creative relationships to bring true meaning to 'premium content'. The team is the driving force behind Audible UK’s production output, producing audiobooks, audio drama, podcasts and theatre productions.
As Production Manager, you will...
- Be the point of contact for duration of a dedicated project
- Provide high-level administrative and organisational support for key stakeholders involved in an exciting dedicated project
- Ensure all production milestones are met, help create and update any reporting and tracking tools
- Ensure all productions are delivered and published within business-critical timelines, and to the highest standards
- Assist the team with booking and organising logistics of any on-mic and off-mic talent, or third-party producers
- Assist with finding new in front of and behind the mic talent
- Onboard and motivate a wide range of freelance producers, agents, directors, talent and production companies we may partner with
- Be responsible for ensuring the production runs smoothly, looking after file management, scripts, contracts and payment info
- Work closely with internal teams (finance, production, legal, merchandising, marketing etc.) on production administration, queries, promotional activities and utilisation of our in-house production resources
- Be responsible for keeping the Production team up to date with any production ideas and challenges in regards to a dedicated project

Basic Qualifications
- Experience as a Project, Production Coordinator or Manager. This role requires someone with extensive administrative experience who thrives on organisation, workflows and processes. An obsession over detail is essential
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong logistical, organisational and time-management skills
- Able to work independently, proactively and meet deadlines
- Dedicated team player who works collaboratively and supportively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of invoicing and/or financial software including Microsoft Excel
- An understanding of content production processes
- Experience of managing or coordinating multiple simultaneous projects, ideally in the media, arts, entertainment or events industries
