Job Description
- As Production Manager you will report directly to the Operations Manager, whilst liaising closely with Project and Engineering Teams.
- Overseeing all production activities to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency, utilising LEAN methodology to improve these processes.
- Implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational processes.
- Managing a team of engineers and shop floor staff to meet production targets.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, health and safety regulations within the department.
- Managing and maintaining budgets and production schedules,
- Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Evaluating operational performance and implementing necessary changes whilst delivering KPI's during monthly and weekly meetings
- Leading the development of new production processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager should have:
- A proven track record in a managerial role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
- Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- ERP System knowledge
