We deliver production with a performance mindset - resulting in harder working content, reduced waste, and stronger ROI.
Introduction
The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring we bring production best-practice to the way our global hubs work with a growing number of Prose on Pixels offshore and near-shore hubs and production delivery centres.
Our network is expanding quickly and we have a growing number of Production Delivery Centres worldwide, most notably in Chennai (India); Heredia (Costa Rica) and Prague (Czech Republic), but soon also others in new markets. This is in addition to ‘near-shore’ hubs such as Manchester, New York, Prague and Paris.
The Production Manager will build a thorough knowledge of the capabilities of our Hubs and Production Delivery Centres and be responsible for ensuring we do the right work in the right place on a job-by-job, client-by-client basis.
They will fast become an ally to our local studio leads, who by implication are focussed on localised delivery solutions. They’ll be seen as an enabler, a problem solver and bringer of innovation and solutions across our network that helps the studios, project managers and ultimately our clients.
Initially they will be the ‘go-to’ for UK studio leads, project and account managers, ‘owning’ our network’s integrated production solution, architecting new ways of working when required and ensuring all parties in the cycle are briefed, available and clear on their inputs. They will work closely with our UK Heads of Film and Senior Producers and create better integration of workflows across film, digital and print where appropriate.
Over time they will become the global ‘go-to’ for rightshoring, enabling our network to engage and deliver seamlessly, with common processes and a suite of supporting documentation onboarding materials.
Monitoring and optimising our respective workflows will become a key part of the role. Working with studio leads and the leaders of the offshore Delivery Centres, the role requires strong oversight and systems to be put in place to monitor and report on key performance metrics.
