SalaryRecruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a specialist manufacturing company in their search for a Production Manager to work at their facility in St Helens.
For the successful Production Manager our client is offering:
• £45,000 - £52,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Days role, Monday to Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM and early finish of 1 PM Friday
• Permanent role
• Free parking on-site

• 32 days of holiday a year including Bank holidays
The role - Production Manager:
• Ensure all processes in the production of goods are followed correctly
• Providing sufficient communication between the project, engineering, and shop floor teams
• Responsible for managing the shop floor staff to achieve timed deliveries and meet customer expectations.
• Hold monthly appraisals with production employees
• Oversee and manage the production processes and completion of paperwork
• Communicates expectations to production workers and appraises their performance
• Oversee the inspection and sign off the finished goods before collection for delivery.
• Reporting to the operations manager on none conformance
• responsible for arranging the electrical installs on the required date with the electrical subcontractor and ordering electrical parts to be fitted into the kiosk
• Establish commercial relationships with internal suppliers
• Responsible for the stock control and the flow of stock materials
What our client is looking for in a Production Manager:
• Experienced Production Manager managing teams
• Understanding of Lean methodologies - Kaizen, materials management, process improvement - ESSENTIAL
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing systems - ESSENTIAL
• The ability to organise and prioritise workloads
• Strong leadership and problem solving skills
• Must be an effective communicator and able to lead a team with excellent attention to detail
• ERP system knowledge including SAP - ESSENTIAL
