As Technical Production Manager, you'll manage the end-to-end production and installation of exhibitions and live events, working closely with project managers and internal teams, ensuring all elements of the project are seamlessly integrated. You'll plan the technical resources required to deliver a project, advise on suitable AV and lighting solutions, organise the set-up, build and breakdown of stands and installations, maintain health and safety requirements and liaise with suppliers and contractors.
Responsibilities for the Technical Production Manager include -
- Lead the production process from concept through to delivery and post-production analysis, involving all aspects from lighting, sound and audio-visual requirements, to build and installation, while taking into consideration the space available, budget, timescales and health and safety requirements.
- Cost, procure and deliver the technical and production requirements, negotiate/manage suppliers.
- Develop critical path timelines, on-site schedules, supplier briefing docs, and manage crew timings for the practical setup, delivery and breakdown of the exhibition/event
- Oversee the setup and installation of events, within the UK and internationally (when required).
