Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be:
* Effectively managing workflows to provide optimal service delivery efficiency and lead the technical development of the workshop and products manufactured.
* Developing and implementing the productions standard operating procedure (SOPs) to ensure quality and safety
* Working closely with customers and supporting the contract/project managers with quotations, estimates, pricing and technical input for tenders
* Supporting service engineers with technical knowledge on field-based work, installation and troubleshooting
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Ideally having a NVQ Level 3 Minimum in a relevant engineering subject, preferably mechanical
Personal skills, experience and knowledge
The Production Manager role would suit someone who has:
* Prior experience working in a production/workshop environment, ideally with products for industrial clients such as pumps, etc
* Experience of continuous improvement techniques
* Excellent stakeholder relationship management
* Prior experience in a fast-paced, customer service environment
