Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Walthamstow
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Are you a seasoned Production Manager? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in Walthamstow and lead our production operations towards greater efficiency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lean Manufacturing Implementation:
- Develop and execute strategies to integrate lean manufacturing principles into daily operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.
Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Oversee production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and motivate production teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the production staff.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to meet and exceed industry standards.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve any product-related issues.
Cost Management:
- Work closely with the finance department to monitor and control production costs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
- In-depth knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with industry-standard production equipment and technologies.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification is highly desirable.
